Finding Industry Events

How the event search works

The event search uses your organization's profile data — industries, client description, and location preferences — to generate a search prompt. You then use this prompt with ChatGPT or another AI assistant to find upcoming events.

    Open the Search Events tool

    From the Events page or the Activities page, click the "Search Events" button. This opens the ChatGPT-powered event search modal.

    Set your time period

    Choose a date range for when you want to attend events. This helps narrow results to upcoming opportunities you can realistically attend.

    Copy the generated prompt

    Booked55 generates a tailored search prompt based on your organization's industries, location preferences, and the selected time period. Copy this prompt to your clipboard.

    Search with ChatGPT

    Click the link to open ChatGPT (or your preferred AI tool) and paste the prompt. The AI will return a list of relevant events in your industry and region.

    Create events in Booked55

    Review the results and create events in Booked55 for the ones you plan to attend. This lets you track attendance and follow-up.

Optimizing your search

To get the best results from the event search:

  • Complete your organization profile — The more detail you add about your organization's industries and target clients, the better the search prompt will be.
  • Set prospect preferences — Your prospect preferences (target industries, company size, travel radius) are factored into the prompt.
  • Use a reasonable time range — Searching 1-3 months ahead gives the most actionable results.

Once you have a list of events to attend:

  1. Create events in Booked55 for each one.
  2. After attending, add the contacts you met as attendees.
  3. Launch a follow-up campaign to the new contacts.
  4. Add promising contacts to a pipeline.
