Creating Campaigns

Campaigns in Booked55 are created from the Contacts page by selecting a group of contacts and clicking “Send Emails.” This ensures every campaign starts with a targeted audience.

Creation workflow

   Filter your contacts

   On the Contacts page, use the filter bar to narrow down to your target audience. Filter by pipeline, stage, event, client status, or any combination.

   Select contacts

   Select individual contacts or use "Select All" to select every contact matching your current filters.

   Click "Send Emails"

   With contacts selected, click the "Send Emails" button that appears in the header bar. This opens the Email Campaign modal.

   Configure the campaign

   Fill in the campaign name, description, and subject line. Choose a template or write custom content. The body supports rich text and template variables.

   Create the campaign

   Click "Create Campaign." The campaign is created in Pending status and begins contact filtering. Navigate to the Campaigns page to monitor its progress.

Using templates

When configuring your campaign, you can select a pre-built email template. Templates automatically fill in the subject and body with your saved content, including template variables that personalize each email.

Filter-based vs. manual selection

There are two approaches to building your contact list:

• Filter-based — Apply filters (pipeline, stage, event, etc.) and use “Select All.” This dynamically includes everyone matching the criteria, even across multiple pages.
• Manual — Manually check individual contacts. Best for small, hand-picked audiences.

Best practices

• Name campaigns descriptively — Use names like “SaaS Connect Follow-up - Feb 2026” so they are easy to find later.
• Add a description — Note the purpose and audience for future reference.
• Check the contact count — Verify the number of targeted contacts before creating the campaign.
• Ensure contacts have emails — Use the “Missing email” filter first to exclude contacts without email addresses.
