Kanban Board

The Kanban board is the visual heart of your pipeline. Each stage is a column, and each contact is a card that you can drag between columns as deals progress.

Board layout

Stages are arranged left to right in the order you defined when creating the pipeline. Each column header shows:

  • The stage name
  • The number of contacts in that stage
  • The total deal value for that stage

At the top of the board, you can see the overall pipeline total — the sum of all deal values across all stages.

Drag and drop

Click and hold any card to drag it to a different stage. When you release the card in a new column, the contact moves to that stage. If the new stage has automations configured, they will trigger immediately.

Card information

Each card on the board shows:

  • Contact name — Click to open the contact detail page.
  • Email and phone — Quick reference for outreach.
  • Company — If linked.
  • Assigned user — The team member responsible for this deal.
  • Value — The deal amount.
  • Notes — A brief note about the deal.

Search and filter

Use the search bar above the board to find specific contacts by name, email, phone, or company. The filter dropdown lets you view:

  • All users — Every contact in the pipeline.
  • Unassigned — Contacts not assigned to anyone.
  • Specific user — Only contacts assigned to a selected team member.

Inactivity indicators

Stages can be configured with inactivity rules. When a card has not been updated for a specified number of days, it changes color (e.g., turns yellow or red). This visual cue helps you spot stale deals that need attention. Configure inactivity rules in Stage Automations.

Adding contacts to the board

Click the “Add Contact” button on the board to search for an existing contact and add them to any stage. You can also add contacts from the Contacts page.
