Creating Contacts
There are two ways to add contacts to Booked55: manually through the creation wizard, or in bulk via CSV Import. This page covers the manual creation flow.
Using the creation wizard

Click "Add New Contact"
From the Contacts page, click the "Add New Contact" button in the top-right corner. This opens the Contact Creation Wizard.

Enter basic information
Fill in the contact's first name, last name, email address, phone number, and company. The name field is required; all other fields are optional but recommended.

Add additional details
The wizard may prompt you for additional information like the contact's role, social media profiles, and notes. Fill in what you have available.

Save the contact
Click "Save" to create the contact. You will be taken to the contact's detail page where you can add more information, assign them to a pipeline, or log an activity.
Available fields

| Last name | No | The contact's family name. |
| No | Primary email address. Required for sending emails and campaigns. | |
| Phone | No | Phone number with country code. |
| Company | No | The company the contact belongs to. Links to a Company record if one exists. |
| Role / Title | No | The contact's job title or role at their company. |
| Client status | No | Whether this contact is already a client. |
Best practices
- Always add an email — Contacts without email cannot be included in campaigns or receive emails from the platform.
- Link to a company — Linking contacts to companies lets you see all contacts at an organization together.
- Add to a pipeline immediately — After creation, assign the contact to a pipeline so they appear on your Kanban board.
- Use consistent naming — Capitalize names properly and avoid duplicates to keep your data clean.
