Multi-Tenancy
Booked55 is built as a multi-tenant platform. Each organization is a completely separate workspace with its own contacts, pipelines, events, campaigns, settings, and team members. A single user account can belong to multiple organizations, making it easy to manage separate businesses, teams, or client workspaces.
How multi-tenancy works
Every piece of data in Booked55 belongs to a specific organization. When you log in, you see only the data for your currently selected organization. There is no data leakage between organizations — contacts, pipelines, templates, and settings are completely isolated.
- Contacts in Organization A are invisible to Organization B.
- Pipelines and stage automations are configured per organization.
- Users can have different roles in different organizations (e.g., owner in one, salesperson in another).
- Workspace settings (client types, API keys, prompts) are organization-specific.
Switching between organizations
If you belong to multiple organizations, use the organization switcher in the sidebar header. Click your current organization name to see a dropdown of all organizations you have access to. Select a different organization to switch immediately.
When you switch, the entire dashboard reloads with the new organization's data. Your sidebar navigation, pipelines dropdown, and all page content reflect the selected workspace.
Joining multiple organizations
You can be part of multiple organizations through two paths:
- Invitation — An organization owner invites you by email. You receive a link to join their workspace.
- Creating a new organization — You can create additional organizations from the organization selection screen after registration.
Roles are per-organization
Your role is assigned independently in each organization. For example:
- You might be the owner of your own company's workspace.
- And a sales-person in a partner's workspace.
This means your permissions, visible data, and admin access change based on which organization you have selected.
Organization selection on login
If you belong to multiple organizations, you may see an organization selection screen after logging in. Choose the workspace you want to start with. You can switch at any time using the sidebar switcher.
Common use cases
- Multiple businesses — A founder running two companies can manage both from one account.
- Agency model — An agency managing sales for multiple clients can create a separate organization for each client.
- Training / sandbox — Create a separate organization for onboarding new team members without affecting production data.
- Regional teams — Separate organizations for different regions or markets with region-specific pipelines and settings.
