Quick reference for key terms and concepts used throughout Booked55.

Activity
Any logged sales action such as a call, meeting, email, or follow-up. Activities are tracked on the Scoreboard and linked to contacts.
Campaign
A bulk email send targeted at a filtered set of contacts. Campaigns use templates and go through filtering, testing, and launching stages.
Client
A contact who has been marked as a paying customer, typically through a pipeline automation or manual action.
Client Type
A configurable category used to classify contacts or pipeline items within your workspace.
Company
An organization record that can be linked to one or more contacts. Tracks company name, website, employee count, and more.
Contact
An individual person stored in Booked55 — a prospect, client, or referral. Each contact has a detail page with knowledge, timeline, conversations, and AI todo tabs.
CSV Import
The ability to upload a CSV file to bulk-create contacts, mapping columns to Booked55 fields.
Event
A conference, networking session, or meeting tracked in Booked55. Events can be single-day, multi-day, or recurring and have attendee lists.
Global User Filter
A dashboard-wide dropdown that filters all data by a specific team member. Useful for managers reviewing individual performance.
Heatmap
A visual calendar on the Scoreboard showing daily activity volume by color intensity.
Kanban Board
The visual pipeline view where contacts are displayed as cards in stage columns. Cards can be dragged between stages.
Organization
The top-level workspace in Booked55. Each organization has its own contacts, pipelines, settings, and team members.
Pipeline
A series of stages that represent your sales process. Contacts move through stages from left to right as deals progress.
Pipeline Item
A contact placed in a pipeline. Each item has a value, assigned user, notes, and can trigger stage automations.
Prompt
A configurable AI instruction used in pipeline automations. Prompts support variables and are managed in Workspace Settings.
Referral
A relationship between two contacts where one referred the other. Tracked on the contact detail page.
Role
A permission level assigned to team members: owner, admin, manager, operator, sales-person, or user.
Scoreboard
A dashboard showing six key metrics — events attended, contacts earned, activities completed, referrals generated, appointments held, and customers earned — with heatmaps and scoring.
Stage
A column within a pipeline representing a step in the sales process (e.g., "Lead," "Meeting Booked," "Proposal Sent").
Stage Automation
An action triggered when a contact enters a pipeline stage — such as moving to another pipeline, marking as client, or generating an activity.
Template
A reusable email layout with subject, body, and dynamic variables that populate with contact or company data when sent.
Variable
A placeholder in templates (e.g., {{contact.first_name}}) that gets replaced with real data when an email is sent.
Workspace Settings
Configuration pages for pipelines, client types, API keys, and AI prompts that apply to the entire organization.
